Why are people so obsessed with life? So far, all that I can do is sleep, and work my ass off, and for what?! Death comes on swift wings, so are we to help it, or live miserably? Why do we hold onto this misery when we cannot find a meaning? Why are people afraid to die when it only makes you fear misery and life without happiness? People must accept death to live for death cannot exist without the forerunner of life. There is no one or the other, but instead both existing together like light and darkness. Once this is accepted, one can live life without fear of what’s to come. “The greatest joys, come with the greatest hardships.” We have to take charge.
One fact of life is that when you want to learn something, you want to learn it in an unforgettable way because you want to learn so that you will never forget. Most lessons come with great pain, loss, or adversely love, or extreme happiness, which embeds our lessons with the giving or loss of material or emotion. Just like how I lost my deepest love because of irresponsibility, lost emotion, and truthfully, disregard for standing up for who I am. I regret losing her every day, but I’ve learned that we have to appreciate those who love us, and treat them with the same respect. I will never forgive myself for my mistakes, and I wear something that I had given her every day in remembrance of my idiocy.
Life is a one way street, it goes on and on in one direction, never stopping and never flipping a U turn to change. All you can do is move ahead only glancing back through your rear-view mirror. If you think far into the future, you’ll forget who you are, who you were, and you could end up in a wreck. Concentrating on your current situation, keeping your hands on the wheel, and giving your all will take you far away from failure. You may dream in the future but not live, you have to live now, here, where you are at this very moment, never in any other place.
